A Refreshed Dining Area

This dining area was initially a separate closed off space to the kitchen and felt very dark. Removing the kitchen wall allowed the dining area to flow between the kitchen and living area organically. We changed the floors, painted the walls and styled it with walnut and white oak pieces to match the newly created kitchen details and polished it off with a stunning modern light fixture.

Check out the gallery below to see other angles of the Dining room.

An Open Flow Kitchen

Pre renovation there was a fully closed-in laundry room where the waterfall peninsula is now. It created a weird bottleneck vibe and meant you couldn’t see anything else in the house from the kitchen. Once we removed the wall and relocated the washer / dryer it felt so much more open and inviting. We installed our custom built walnut shelves that allowed for extra storage while maintaining the airy feeling. Painting the cabinets in two different tones also created a light hearted and homey aesthetic.

A Colour Blocked Bathroom

This previously 80’s bathroom got a beautiful overhaul with muted colours in a creative colour blocking pattern and accented with ipe wood details. Small bathrooms are all about optimizing storage so we built a custom medicine cabinet to match the vanity and added additional shelving beside the tub for towels and toilet paper. The result was a warm and relaxing space that is not only beautiful, but highly functional as well

An Inviting Living Space

Small details can make a world of difference and this living space is a great example of that. We ditched the dated railing and installed a much more modern, custom-made glass and steel railing we designed specifically for this room. Resulting in a much cleaner visual and generally elevated the room with a touch of sophistication. We said bye bye to the ugly lighting and swapped it out for pot lights and simplistic sconces. We opted to paint the crown moulding the same warm cream colour as the walls and it did wonders for increasing the feeling of the ceiling height.
