About Us
In Greek, Schédio is the word for “design”, derived from the root “sche-don” meaning “nearly, almost, about or approximately”. Thus, from its Greek definition, design is about incompleteness, indefiniteness, or imperfection, yet also about likelihood, expectation or anticipation. In the largest sense, design signifies not only the vague intangible, or ambiguous, but also strives to capture the elusive.
To us, design provides the spark of an idea and the formation of a mental image. It is about the primordial stage of capturing, conceiving, and outlining the main features of a plan.
Coming up with this plan is only half the story because from a practical sense, a design is only as valuable as ones ability to execute it into a livable space to be enjoyed by those who dwell in it.

About the Founders
Jenalee Nordstrom (Tsimara)
Principal Designer + CEO
At the forefront of Schédio Spaces is Jenalee, an inspired leader with roots in the scenic Vancouver Island, where she spent her formative years at sea.
As the CEO and creative force behind Schédio Spaces, Jenalee has crafted an impressive journey to success. Her design skills and unwavering work ethic have not only secured million-dollar contracts but have also made a significant impact in both commercial and residential markets.
Her achievements have been acknowledged with several prestigious international awards, and her work has graced the pages of renowned publications such as Living etc and Western Living Magazine.
Jenalee is responsible for the creative vision of all Schédio Spaces projects. She communicates her artistic direction through meticulous technical documentation, including interior design and architectural drawings, tech packs, shop drawings, and visual renderings. This ensures smooth operations and a clear understanding for clients, trades and all Schedio departments.
Christopher Nordstrom (Tsimaras)
Head of Build + COO
As COO of Schédio Spaces, Christopher leads the charge spearheading both the Build and Shop Departments. He brings a legacy of craftsmanship as a fourth-generation builder of Greek descent, boasting over 20 years of industry experience.
Christopher's impressive track record speaks volumes, having successfully overseen the completion of over 200 projects, including the construction of multiple 'Mark's Work Warehouse' locations across North America.
His journey has been further enriched by training at BCIT, honing his skills in estimating and project management. This wealth of experience positions him as a standout leader, ensuring the seamless execution of the design vision while maintaining unwavering quality. In every project, Christopher's friendly demeanour, vast knowledge, and unwavering commitment to excellence shine through, making him a respected cornerstone of our team.
