We specialize in cutting edge contemporary design and quality construction with a focus on commercial spaces, new builds and full scale home and condo renovations / rebuilds. We’re a fully integrated company, so we take care of everything for you from start to finish - this creates a relaxed experience for our clients because all the hard work is done for you!
After thoroughly understanding your needs, we complete the design, handle permitting, manage the entire project including construction, trades, mill working and if you like, even the furnishings. This means you don’t have to go back and forth between multiple companies and juggle a million different emails, contacts and contracts.
Below is a bit more about the specific types of services under the Schédio umbrella. We typically do all (or most) of these on each of our projects, but in certain circumstances we can break them down in a more a-la-carte format.

Interior Design
Understanding how you want your space to feel (not just how you need it to function) is essential to achieving successful design. Spacial planning and selecting the most appropriate finishes is also incredibly important.
A lot of people have an idea of what they like, but very few understand how to combine individual choices to create a larger, cohesive vision.
When you hire Schédio, we take the time to thoroughly understand who you are and what you need from your space. We then study the space (or lot) to determine the best way to maximize it’s potential. We present you with options that are specifically curated to your needs so you can’t make a wrong choice, then we walk you through the pros and cons of each options, so you feel confident in the vision for your project.
Once you’re in love with the vision, we create all the technical drawings and specifications necessary to communicate the design flawlessly to the build team, who then make it a reality.
General Contracting + Project Management
There are many moving parts involved in any construction project. Whether it’s building out a new commercial space for your business, creating your dream home from the ground up, or large scale renovations / rebuilds to an existing home or condo, each project requires specialized skills and industry expertise to manage all necessary aspects of the build effectively.
When you hire Schédio, we deep dive into the design vision to make sure we understand all the components in detail. We then calculate the required materials and labour hours and present estimates and timeline to you for review.
Once we’ve clearly established and agreed upon the full scope of the project we get to work on the execution. We manage all industry trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and engineering as well as all material orders and deliveries. We have our own in-house team of carpenters and finishing specialists as well as a workshop where we hand build custom mill working including kitchens, bathroom and closets.
We have built our reputation on trust and accountability and set the bar for quality within the industry.
Millwork + Furniture
One of the many aspects that sets Schédio apart from other companies in our industry is our exceptional millwork and custom detailing.
With over 20 years of experience in joinery and cabinet making, our millwork is as durable and high quality as it is beautiful. We have our own workshop here in Vancouver where we hand make everything using state of the art machinery and the highest quality materials.
Our ‘shop team’ has the skills and experience to create whatever the design team imagines, which allows our projects to be truly one of a kind. It also means we aren’t limited to the specifications of large corporate manufacturers, nor are we subject to their exorbitant lead times.
Every kitchen we create (including all the ones you’ll find on this website) were custom made by us, with each design having been optimized to the absolute maximum in both functionality and aesthetics. Not a single square inch of space is wasted and it’s built to last the test of time.
On the commercial side, we create reception desks, unique bathroom vanities, high end closets, creative book shelves, integrated storage solutions, offices, bars, banquette seating, entertainment units and nearly any kind of custom furniture piece you can imagine.
The sky is the limit for what we can produce and we promise you’ll be blown away by the workmanship.
Virtual Design Consulting
Not every project requires full service Design + Build. Sometimes all you need is a little professional guidance to set you in the right direction.
We know first hand there are always SO MANY decisions and details that go into any project, and decision fatigue can be paralyzing if you don’t have someone experienced guiding you along the way.
Fortunately you don’t have to do it alone! We created this offering for people who don’t need technical drawings or fancy renderings and instead are just looking for help with their questions.
Design-Only Consults start with your choice of a 2 hour virtual meeting or 3 hour in person meeting (if you are located in the vancouver area) and you can add as many follow-up meetings as you need.
During the meeting, Jenalee (principal designer at Schédio) will offer her guidance, support and advice to those design related questions you’re looking to have answered. She’ll give you on the spot suggestions and help you create a plan and direction for your project so you’re confident with your next steps.
This is also a great service for those who wish to work with Jenalee but live outside of the Vancouver area.
