JUN Studio

A Biophilic Dream

Sitting as the centerpiece and undeniable focal point of the salon, is a 10-foot Ficus Audrey tree. A smaller version of the same tree welcomes clients as they enter the space and sculptural preserved florals are sprinkled throughout. This salon stands as a testament to the power of design and its ability to create a unique and unforgettable experience for clients.

A Welcoming Reception

The bold use of Italian Viola marble throughout the space balances the overall softness and adds a note of sophistication. The reception desk is clad entirely in grain-matched stone to mimic a solid marble block and intersects beautifully with an asymmetrical white oak purse shelf. An attractive, curved waiting bench upholstered in sage green velvet floats across from the reception desk and echoes the shape of the nearby makeup station flawlessly.

An Organic Beauty Station

The custom made organically shaped mirrors of the makeup station complement the dreamy textural walls and induces a sense of ease. Vintage brass sconces were paired with a sculptural pendant light to meet the lighting requirements for professional makeup application and increase the overall poetic impact.

A Travertine Arch Feature

The salon's largest wall is framed by a travertine-lined archway and accentuated by a bank of intricate, textured cabinets, topped with hand washing sinks and book-matched marble countertop. The iconic JUN logo is backlit with LED lights and accented with an ethereal floral installation complimenting the warm hues of dusty rose and muted tree bark selected for the custom millwork.

See the gallery below for more detail images of this beautiful feature wall.

Ptychí - a custom lounge bed

The Ptychí lounge chair is a perfect fusion of art and function with its origami-inspired aesthetic, play of shadows and carefully considered design. It's not just furniture; it's an experience, a place to unwind and enjoy life. A perfect example of how design can be both beautiful and practical, enhancing the space in more ways than one.
