A Custom Kitchen
This kitchen is basically unrecognizable from where it started. New floors and paint are obvious but more importantly than that, we reconfigured the peninsula (island) placement. This change made the kitchen not only feel bigger but also function more optimally because we removed dead space turned it into usable cabinetry. Swapping out the stubby upper cabinets for full heigh open shelving and continuing the backsplash to the ceiling really made the room feel taller and lighter. We made all the cabinetry by hand and really like how the modern take on a classic shaker door turned out. Of course the new sink, hardware, faucet, integrated appliances and that stunner of a lighting fixture didn’t hurt either.

A Reimagined Living Space
Before we renovated this space there were three different types of flooring and this living space had very dark laminate. We replaced all the flooring with luxury vinyl plank, and ran it throughout the home. Because it’s waterproof it could even safely be installed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We painted the entire place, added new trim and doors, and updated the styling of the living room using a combination of new items and items the client already had. We gave them a new configuration, then added texture and colour to the space in the accessories.

An Upgraded Bathroom
This was what I like to call a “cheap and cheerful” refresh. We wanted the space to feel fresh and new but didn’t have the budget to start from scratch. So we left the existing tile and mirror and refaced the vanity base with the same custom fronts from the kitchen. We painted the walls and added a durable quartz countertop and a semi recessed sink with new matte black fixtures and hardware. We ran the LVP flooring throughout the bathroom and installed a more streamline toilet. Lastly we topped it off with a new lighting fixture over the vanity and cool steel towel hooks for a slightly edgy vibe. The outcome being a bathroom that felt new and modern, but cost about half of what it would have if we needed to tear out the tub/shower and start from scratch.
