A Completely Redesigned Kitchen

Before we got our hands on this kitchen it was very small and completely closed off to the surrounding living spaces with doors on both sides. (weird, we know). We knew the first thing that needed to go were obviously the walls so we could not only allow light to flow freely throughout the (newly created) open concept living area, but also so we could extend the size of the kitchen making it much more functional and enjoyable to utilize.

Of course we hand made the cabinets, this time using fingerprint-resistant matte white laminate and grain matched white oak veneer, selected integrated appliances, solid quartz counter tops and incredible Calcutta marble backsplash, a custom hood fan and anodized steel hardware handmade in LA.

There are so many gorgeous details in this kitchen and you can see more in the gallery below.

A Newly Imaged Dining Space

This dining area had so much potential but felt heavy and cramped with walls initially separating it from the rest of the living space.

In order to create more flow and maximize impact we removed the surrounding walls. We also built floating banquette seating with a white oak top that lifted to access hidden storage beneath. (Bench seating can also be a great way to create more seating in a small space).

We clad the entire wall in a large scale mirror to reflect the incredible view and give the illusion of more depth to the room. We added a bar area and mounted solid white oak shelves from the ceiling with a customized metal support that appeared to seamlessly stem from the concrete ceiling above and framed it all off with a new lighting fixture.

A Breathtaking Ensuite Bathroom

This stunning, five piece, primary ensuite was a pleasure to create and a far cry from the dated space it started as.

Tiling all four walls meant easy cleaning and introduced a subtle texture that reflected light beautifully. Our custom made, solid white oak vanity was the perfect foundation for double vessel sinks in a matte finished ceramic. We selected brushed brass for the mirrors and a combination of brass and matte black for the faucets and sconces. This combination created a romanic yet modern that echoed throughout the space.

Adjacent the vanity we installed a walk in shower with herringbone marble floor and floor to ceiling tiles created a backdrop for the gorgeous free standing soaker tub.

A Modern Fireplace

We’re really pleased with how clean and minimal this fireplace build turned out. Having glass on three sides allows the fire to be viewed from all angles and creates a very dreamy and sophisticated impact. The smooth drywall finish allows the Frame TV to showcase whatever art the owner chooses and the brings a crisp modernity to the overall feel of the room.

This fireplace is also extremely functional because we framed in a hidden compartment on the side for all the tv wires and console systems to tuck away and be used completely seamlessly.

A Fresh Guest Bath

Inviting, neutral and modern - we were thrilled to check off everything these clients wanted in their new guest bathroom!

Utilizing a floating vanity and continuing the LVP flooring into this bathroom created an uninterrupted sightline and enhanced the feeling of spaciousness in this modestly sized bathroom. Matte black hardware and an angled ceiling pendant brought an element of subtle drama and edginess that complimented this high-rise condo flawlessly.

A solid glass panel, custom built niche, new full sized mirror and modern tub/shower fixtures put the finishing touches on this room and completely transform it from its former 80’s style.
